PRIVACY STATEMENT

Your privacy is important. This statement describes how information from you, the user/customer, collected in conjunction with products and services provided to you, including publications, live events, and online activities, is used by Advisor Media, Inc., assigns or successors, and parties involved in making, selling or fulfilling the products and services provided to you (collectively known as "Producer"). This statement may be updated from time to time; visit http://privacy.advisormedia.com for the current information.
CUSTOMER INFORMATION
You might voluntarily submit information so you can subscribe to print or e-mail publications, register for live conferences or seminars, get access to web sites, buy products or services, or for any other purchase, request or participation. Such information is stored in your customer records.
E-MAIL FOR ADVISOR
To be a supported customer, you must provide at least one functioning e-mail address so you can be contacted about the product or service you purchased. Your e-mail address is used by the Producer to give you customer service, to provide requested information such as e-newsletters, to update you on requested or relevant information, to notify you of expiring subscriptions, to announce new products and services, and similar. If you do not provide at least one valid e-mail address, you might be ineligible for certain online access, products or services. At any time you may request a change of your contact information and/or the type of e-mail or other information you receive.
E-MAIL FOR THIRD-PARTIES
Unless you grant permission, the Producer does not give your e-mail address to anyone who is not involved in providing products and services to you. Even if you have asked to receive special offers and information from qualified companies, they do not get your e-mail address; the e-mail is sent by the Producer (or secure e-mail services). The only exception is if you explicitly "opt-in" to have your e-mail address shared with a qualified third-party for direct receipt of special offers.
IDENTIFICATION
Online, you can use most services anonymously; you don't need to log-in or provide any information about yourself. In some online areas you must verify that you are an authorized customer by logging-in, which identifies you for that visit. For some products and services you must provide identifying information to the Producer, such as to get online membership, to receive e-newsletters, to register for an event, to become a subscriber, to receive shipment of a product, to purchase by credit card, and for various other purposes.
COOKIES
Web browsers and sites generally interact via cookies to provide an organized and/or personalized user experience, to allow online transactions, and to provide smooth movement through a site's pages and features. Your browser must accept cookies for some web activities, such as to log-in as a member, to read subscriber-only content, and to make online purchases. The Producer's cookies are customized for its online services, and not identified to any third-parties.
LOGGING
Information related to certain online activities is automatically logged by servers, including user IP addresses, URLs, pages visited, cookies, and other data. Producer aggregates and tabulates this information to analyze how the online features and content are used. Some of this aggregated, tabulated, non-personal information is provided to advertisers. Some online advertising may come from third-party servers that log aggregate ad displays and clicks; any such information is not combined with the information logged by Producer. However, if online access is in violation of Terms of Use or otherwise causing problems for Producer and other customers, server log data may be shared with involved parties in pursuit of a remedy.
CHILDREN
The Producer does not solicit information from children under the age of 13, accept online members under 13, or normally provide products or services directed at children under 13. Because the Producer provides professional, business, technical and lifestyle information, determining suitability for older children is up to their parents.
INTERNATIONAL
By conducting business with the Producer, or using any of the Producer's products or services, you agree to the transfer of your information to the Producer in countries or locations where privacy protection may be different from your country or location.
LINKS
When the Producer provides links to other online sites, products or services, it is for the convenience of users. The Producer is not responsible for the privacy policies, content or business practices of any other sites or businesses. You are solely responsible for determining the suitability and value of any business, product or service.
